rear window defroster not working

are there any other people that the defroster is malfunctioning and /or is there a known problem with these cars. fuse is fine button pushes can heard a click light does not come on defroster does not work. before i dig into this has anyone had this issue and what fixed it.

I've had to replace a switch in the past for the same reason. Light didn't come on and it didn't work. Cheap at the wreckers
