Hello this is my first time posting on this forum.
I am looking at installing an Astro Start RS-611 remote starter in my girl friends car. it is a bare bones set up, i mean it. I went to the business that deals with this brand and they are telling that i need a by pass module, and that the car will not start with out it. as a trades person, i asked the salesman a few questions and he was not able to look me in the eye and tell me the information i wanted to know. so i left. now i am left with installing it my self.
My simple question is:
What does the bypass module do in this case?. if the car does not have a stock security do i still need it??
