Hi

Im Adam from Sweden.
I need some input concerning the rear suspension on my Pontiac Montana 2003. I always have problems with the air suspension when the weather is approaching "freezing degrees.". And now the compressor to the air suspension started sounding like a crusher too. So to eliminate the expensive problem I am considering to remove the air suspension completely and install "normal" shocks instead.
Have someone here done this?
Know which shocks i must use? The lenght of them and load capacity they must have?
Any input is gratefully received!

I have seen Strutmasters Pontiac-Montana-Air-Suspension-Rear-Conversion-Kit, but they don´t ship to Sweden sooo..yeah.:

Best wishes, Adam.

Right now its nice weather over here, but the suspension is very soft so i need to change it now. Im just thinking ahead:)
And that page u linked, they didn´t ship outside the U.S:(
Any more suggestions?

Thnx btw:)

Thanx man for trying to help me out! I really appreciate it. But none of those companies u linked to ship stuff to Sweden. Starting to get frustrated!

(sorry for the late reply btw, ive been on vacation)

surely there has to be an equivalent over there ? How about Saab(part gm) ?? Here's a good idea try ebay or amazon. Other than that maybe something is just rattling on the compressor loose shield .Good luck

rear air suspension

does anyone have a picture of the compressor and where all the air lines hook up, mine the rubber line rotted out and fell off, so all i have is the passenger side coming to compressor and then just a plastic t with nothing on it and a 14 inch air line hanging down from the drivers side shock, help....

Here is a pic of the compressor but the protective shield blocks most of the view, let me know if you need more info . There is a tee fitting at the compressor .If you can I would try to get everything working. It is nice to have a level van with the whole family and some cargo.

I was thinking of doing the same thing and my first question was "are the springs the same" on the source I checked it looks like they are.
