removing automatic transmission

2000 2.4L

have to get the transmission out to replace the flywheel. Read the Haynes manual. How long will it take to get it out ? Don't have a crane and planning on using blocks or another jack to support the engine. Also any other advice that will make this project less painful are appreciated.

make sure you have a friend with you in case it falls on you..I know a guy who lost his left arm doing that
