Hi, My rotors are warped and I need to know how to take them off so I can turn them. I've already taken the caliper off but I cant figure out how to get the rotor off.
Front rotors require you to remove the center dust cap, the cotter pin and the large center nut. The rotor and the bearings will then slide off.
The rear rotors just slide off but many times you need to tap them with a hammer to loosen them due to rust on the hub.
The 1984 thru 1987 are solid rotors. It is generally better to replace them than to cut them. The new rotors will have a new rear seal so you can grease the bearings and install them into the new rotor.
If you are unfamiliar with doing the procedure, You can download the Haynes Manual for Fiero's which will give you step-by-step instructions and pictures from here: http://www.fieronews.net/fusion/downloads.php?cat_id=1
