Replace 1995 Dodge Ram battery with 2003 Pontiac Grand AM?

GM used sidepost batteries and Dodge used top post batteries during the mid '90's, so there's the first problem, but that can be overcome with adapters but the biggest problem is the CCA (cold cranking amps) of the factory installed batteries, the CCAs must be very close for good service. CCA info is usually found on top of the battery on a label..
If your '95 Ram has a Cummins diesel the Grand Am battery will not even turn the Cummins over.
