Replacing fuel injector o-rings, what's the trick?

One of my injectors is leaking out fuel, most likely a bad o-ring (this happened a few months ago on a different injector, knew I should have replaced all 4 while i was at it) ... I tried replacing the other 3 this week and had a hard time getting the bracket back on that holds all four of them down.

What is the trick to it?

The closest I've come to a solution is slightly taking off the FPR, putting the bracket on, then putting the FPR back in position. After doing this, the same injector is leaking, so I have a feeling the bracket didn't go on correctly and it's not holding the injector down right.

Should I completely remove the FPR?

first you want to put some engine oil around all the o ring so they sit nicely..and since they are new, they are also more firm then the ones you took out....doing that will help align everything else..it just takes some finesse don't force it or you could break it..That's It!

make sure you push the injector back together, i made that mistake, the space for the o ring should be as wide as a ring. the plate takes a bit to get in but you will get it.

I found out my problem actually. I was putting the bracket on right, but I was doing this on a cold engine (so there was no fuel pressure while I worked) ... You'd be surprised how IMPOSSIBLE it makes it to push those injectors in by hand. I was using screwdrivers as levers to force them down (cracking the plastic top in the process) causing them to break.

Once I started getting logical about it thinking to myself "Now I saw my mechanic do this and he didn't have to exert any superhuman force upon them." then it dawned on me that I brought him a car with a hot engine. Haven't had problems since replacing the ones I broke this way.
