I bought a 72 Lemans that had the dash harness already removed. Purchased a harness from Lectric
And cannot get dash lights working or fuel gage to work. Contacted Lectric a couple of times but they could not help. There are 2 orange and white connectors that I can tell locate where they go. I have been driving the car like this for over a year. Can't find a pix of underdash wiring. I have all the manuals etc. nothing shows where to attach the two connectors. I've been tol that if I bought the harness from ezharness they would include
The pix for all wiring attachments. Don't know if that's true. Anyway, it's been a major pain. I've been under the dash at least 50 times........for an old guy like me, that's a lot!!!! Appreciate any help!!!!

Have you done any testing with a test light or voltmeter to determine if you have power going into and out of the fuel gauge?
Same with the light switch circuit for the dash lights?
Was the gauge circuit board replaced when the wiring harness was replaced?
Have you considered removing the dash cluster to test it?

There are no wires going to the fuel gauge, there's a printed circuit board with one cluster connection with all the wires which plugs into the middle of the pcb. The pcb is new, I replaced that.
In the 72 Lemans assy manual it shows the connector (that I located) plugging into to another connector that I cannot locate.
Is there a secondary harness that I'm missing, or is there only one harness for everything inside the dash including glove box.
If you have the assy manual page 12L-2 shows the connectors on the bottom left corner of e page.
Totally frustrating, hope someone can help.

I just looked in the AMES parts book and they sell a courtesy lamp, under dash harness for 47.00
Do you that's what the connector plugs into?????

Do you have the 72 Chasis Service Manual?
There are sections with wiring diagrams and accessorie connections.
