Right sliding door does not close

In my Montana 2003 appear DOOR AJAR, when I close it for a second it seems to close well and the message disappears but later seems "to go back" half inch and the message appears again at dashboard. What could be wrong or no fit? Thanks

Based on your description a bad latch in the door.
