Hello all,
Hope you are all well?
I've recently bought a Blue/Green Chameleon 1997 Firebird, it's a 3800 and is a great car.
I have the SES light on the dash, and whilst the car is driving perfectly fine, I'm trying to find out the DTC code that has set it, and my scan tool is refusing to connect to the PCM.
I changed the 25A fuse for the cigarette lighter as it had blown, but my tool is unable to connect, though it is being powered (it's a Bluetooth module type).
Do these vehicles require a special GM tool or should any OBDII reader work?
Please note, I am in the UK.
Thank you for any help you can provide?!
Jay
