I am wondering if anyone has had an issue with visibility of the safety belt while driving. I have been pulled over 4 times now for a cop not being able to see the belt even though I am wearing it at the level it goes across my body naturally. Today I got a ticket when the cops usually apologize for stopping me wrongfully. I am fighting the ticket and hoping that I am not the only one who has this problem with the poor placement of the safety belt.

Not trying to ask too personel a question but what do you mean you wear it the way it goes across your body naturally? The lap belt should be worn so that it rests on your right and left pelvis. Not sure about your model sunfire but some vehicles have a height adjustment where the shoulder belt attaches to the pillar. If you have this adjustment the belt should be just slightly higher than your shoulder. Usually this feature if available is explained in the owners manual. The end result is the belt comes over your left shoulder and goes diagonally across your chest to the locking buckle.

I'd have somebody take some pictures so you can show the judge. Maybe one of those shoulder strap pads would help. Neon yellow or something?
