seatbelt problem....

in my 2002 sunfire my passenger side seat belt is locked in the panel cant use it ,wont move but about 2 inches or so ,...like the brakes are on hard or something ,....any ideas ....looked at search and to no avail ...i need it working ,driver side is fine .just don't understand why this side is locked up ,not twisted as i can see ...any thoughts?...

try feeding the belt into the retractor to unlock it

thanks ,but its in the re tractor as far as it can go right now ,its in the released position ,at rest ....it won't come forward but about 2 inches or so....any ideal how to pop the plastic panels off at that area ?......,thanks again

fixed ...it was stuck at the retractor ,took plastic panel off and pry ed out on seat belt mech,and it started working ,thanks melsg5
