security in my 1999 pontiac grand am?

I had done some work on my car and when I was all done I had run the car and shut it off and continued to do that 4 times,
I left for the night and I came back and the car would not start and the security light is on..
I took the fuel pump relay and did a quick hardwire to make sure that the fuel pump was still working and I got pressure but when I put a new relay in it still didnt work..
now I can't get the security to shut off I have tried the whole leave the key on ten minutes untill it flashes
and it doesent flash and i tried a couple of other things any ideas anybody?

There were some issues with the ignition lock cylinders on the Grand Am causing the security system to activate ..it requires replacment of the lock cylinder and reprogramming of the system (there are wires that go to the lock cylinder) that control the security system that sometimes chafe and the cylinders wear also causing issues ..
