Series II 3800 to a Series III?

I was wondering If it were possible to swap the series II 3800 V6 in my 1998 firebird to a series III supercharged from a Grand Prix GT? What all would need changed? Is this even a reasonable idea? Give me your thoughts!!

I am not saying it cant be done, but it would be a lot of work, besides the usual Wiring Harness and Engine control Module changes, the biggest issue is the fact that the FWD Supercharged engines have the air inlet on the drivers side, and when you turn the engine 90 degree's to mount it in a RWD Car, that puts the Air intake and Throttle body up against the firewall of your FB.
I have seen a couple of swaps into Vega's were the owner cut off the air inlet and remounted it towards the front of the engine. But that is a lot of custom cutting and welding!
I think it would be more feasible to Turbo charge you series II 3.8. But not as cheap as a used supercharged engine.

I think turbocharging it would be too expensive. Did any RWD cars get a supercharged series 3?

The only RWD series II or III 3800's I know of are late 1996 thru 2002 Firebirds and Camaro's, the last of the 3.8 liter V-6's did go into the 1989 Turbo T/A's, but they are very different engines, more like the engines that went into Grand National and T-type Regals. The only cars I know of that had the Supercharged engines where the Bonneville, Grand Prix, and Buick GS's and I think the big Buick Ultra's also. And they were all FWD.
