service vehicle soon and trac off light on

I came out after school today and started my car to find my "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" and "TRAC OFF" lights both on and the traction control didn't work in the rain I hope it can be fixed without going to a shop (and yes i checked the owners manual TWICE )

Typically that is caused by a bad wheel sensor or the harness connected to the sensor. A scan tool is used to determine which wheel.
