Hello,

I am completely new to this whole Fiero thing. I have seen them but never really thought about them until I saw a craigslist post for one. It seems like it would be a cool project car as long as the engine turns and whatnot ( don't want too crazy a project ). Furthermore I'd like to be able to sell it for a little more than I put into it.

I would like an opinion on this car http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/4717149729.html I know it isnt a lot to go off of but I am going to check it out on Saturday and I would like to know things to look out for, if its worth it, etc.

Please provide your opinion.

THANKS!

Two pictures of the outside of a car sitting in the woods being sold for $480 ! How can anybody tell you what you potentially are getting into with zero details on the car. You can try pricing out the car at www.carcollectormarket.com and www.nada.com If you get some details concerning what is the condition under the hood, what is the condition of the frame, etc. and why it wont start, it would be helpful.

Take a battery to see if will turn over at least.

My guess its a fuel or a electrical / wiring related problem sitting in the woods like that.

Without seeing that car in person its hard to tell, its a 2.4 probably 4-speed car with 144,000 miles. depending on condition it could be well worth the $3000 asking price.
But don't expect it to be fast, the old Iron Duke powered versions had about 90HP they are pretty bullet proof engine wise and reletivly easy to work on.

I would need to see a lot more pictures to give a better opinion. But I would take $2000 cash with me when I looked at it, Drive it, and if you like it make an offer.

look at the car very closely for rust especially in the subframe assembly.
