• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Im in a process of buying a used car. One of my options includes a 2005 Grand Prix Gt 3.8L V6 with 178000miles. It is very clean inside and out, even under the hood. During test drive, it was quiet and rode smooth with no lack of power. They but new tires and brakes. They also put a new cat converter. Asking price is 7000. If I were to purchase this vehicle, would I be entering problems in terms of all the miles.

if you look at sites like www.edmunds.com and ww.nada.com and www.kbb.com the car is way overpriced for that mileage. In addition check for excessive white smoke out tailpipe or brownish creamish substance in oil filler cap. Have it checked by a pro before buying it assuming you can get the price down.

I ended up getting the car for 5600 out the door. Thank you for your help
