Should I sell my 1998 Pontiac Sunfire?

w/ 121,000 miles on it...A/C needs work...but a head gasket was recently replaced. I was recently told that the starter was on its last leg. Basically, it's in fair condition. I was offered $500 for a trade in...but i'm debating whether or not to make some minor fixes and sell it for a little more. Any thoughts?

If the question is....should you fix your Sunfire, or get rid of it?, then fix it and be money ahead

If the question is.....should you trade in your Sunfire or fix it up and then try to sell it.? You may as well trade it in and save the money on repairs to enjoy the car you intend on getting
