Slave cylinder replacement

A friend is needing her slave cylinder replaced on her 1997 Sunfire. It's a sedan and I believe a base model.
Can I get any pointers or tricks on doing this? I've done a lot of work on my own cars for the last eight years. I'm not worried about doing this but I've never worked with a hydraulic clutch system before nor this engine. Are there any things to look out for or tricks to doing this? Thanks a lot

How about if I have to remove the trans or not? Yes or a no..

Unfortunately for your car, you do have to remove the tranny to replace it. Unless the clutch assembly is real good shape, I'd replace it at the same time.
