I have now replaced the master cylinder (brand new one) replaced the slave cylinder (brand new one) replaced the clutch plate (brand new one) flushed the line properly, oh and replaced the line incase it had any holes in it. I checked everything and everything is in working order. BTW the old clutch plate was BBBAAAADDDDDD but anyways so I've done everything there, checked the linkages and the wires and I finally got someone with small enough hands to be able to do the clutch pedal. I'm at a freaking loss. I don't know what else to replace to get this dang thing to shift gears for more than five seconds..... any help is appreciated.

Oh and HI everybody I know it's been a while, work has been BUSY! which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just one step closer to my swap.

So did any of the work done so far clear up any of the problems or did they clear up some but not all? Previously you posted:
Symptoms are: Notchy and hard to shift, Revs drop slowly between shifts, clutch has to be depressed all the way to the floor in order to engage, Third gear has grinded about a couple times, not a constant thing, reverse fights me a touch too, shifting into first and second are the hardest but only about half the time the other half the time it engages almost fine.

Also have you checked the shift cables? If you disconnect them from the trans and move the shifter around does it feel or get tight/resistance?

Now I have absolutely no engagement of the clutch. I have checked the shift cables, when I removed them it was loose/no resistence.

In order I have:

rebuilt the master: fixed the problem for a day

replaced the slave: fixed the problem for a week

replaced the master: nothing

replaced the line because i saw some fluid dripping figured let's do it: nothing

replaced the clutch plate with the help of an old fiero tech: no go

So ever since I replaced the slave the problem has been persistent. I have full travel and I can shift gears without the car running. I have no air bubbles, the plate is in properly. The only thing I haven't replaced, essentially, is the dang transaxle. and I'm hoping that's not the case.

Since "no engagement" started after replacing the slave, Have you had someone push the clutch pedal while you watch the slave cylinder? The slave pushes an arm for the clutch. If the slave isn't pushing the arm or not pushing it far enough then the problem is not in the transaxle. How did the bracket for the slave look? I've seen some that were cracked so when you pushed the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder moved as well which caused the clutch to move very little or not at all.

Another thing to check is on the clutch arm on the transaxle is a bolt holding the arm. If it was put in backwards with the nut facing the case, This will limit the arms movement.
Here is an incorrect bolt:

Here is what it is suppose to look like:

Another thing could be the banjo bolt is worn or bent. Rodney Dickman sells a new one that is adjustable so you can adjust the clutch pedal for proper throw into the master cylinder.

If everything external is moving correctly, Then it could be the transaxle.
When you guys changed the clutch plate, how did the throw-out bearing and clutch fork look? Did you guys change the pressure plate or just the disc?

Let me know what you find after checking the above.
