Some heat coming out of the oil fill cap

so I when to fill up my oil in my van, and I had a low engine oil message. I filled it up but right when I started doing so, I had this issue. Searched this problem on google and my results were a bad intake valve stem or the piston rings are bad! Is this a worthy task of fixing daily or is it something that I should scrap and move on? I also have a service manual that I can use if need be.

Why wouldn't you expect heat to Not come out on an engine? The oil in the engine is extremely hot.
