speedo problems

the speedo on my 2004 Sunfire shows faster than I'm travelling. What could be the cause?

assuming you have the correct size tires on the car, it would be caused by the VSS, vehicle speed sensor, or the speedometer itself.

I can't find the vss.
where is it and what does it look like
