Took the car to the shop to fix a misfire, during the process he unhooked the battery and hooked it back up. Now the speedo, odometer, trip, and cruise control don't work. What could be the problem?

My first thought is it worked when you drove to the shop so why isnt the shop rechecking what they did? Did they disconnect anything other than the battery? Other than that start with the various fuse boxes.

Don't really want to deal with that mechanic anymore, he seems stupid. But on the drive home this morning, CEL came on, scanned it at autozone and it's a bad speed sensor connection.

Where is the VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) location? And my transmission is a 3 speed automatic, does that mean it's the 3T40?

Is it possible that since the speedometer isn't working, that the vehicle thinks it's not going anywhere while in drive so maybe that's why the odometer, trip, and cruise control isn't working?

try looking at the backside of transmission in the area where right side axle shaft comes out

Thank you, might try looking for it tomorrow. I also found a picture of the location...
