Not sure if I have similar thread?
driving along, service stabilitrak message comes on.
no abs light. No cel.
next day, no lights or messages on dash.
I have had bad wheel bearing issues, duh, it’s a gm, but the abs light always stays on.
on OTHER gm cars, not this one
never had 1 abs light in the last 8 months I have had this.
would I get a code for an intermittent stabilitrak Warning?

You definitely would get a code when light is on but not sure if it stores codes in history for that system.

My only notification is message center. I don’t get any “lights”.
says service stabilitrak, stabilitrak is off.

Same thing, it would need to be scanned when you get the message.

I was getting intermittent Stabilitrak warning lights on my 2008 Torrent. I checked the wiring and connectors at the wheel sensors and everything looked good. Based on what others posted online, I replaced the engine EGR valve about 6 months ago. I know, makes no sense. But I haven't had one issue with the Stabilitrak system since... changing that EGR valve was a very simple process too.

I had an egr code last summer when I got the torrent. I put on a used egr and code went away. Think it was 0405? dont recall. The stabilitrak message was there in July. I think it went away for a few months. Then it randomly started popping up. I think all my overheat messages were for a bad thermostat. I got 0118 and 0128? Been ok since last fall.

I was told 1st thing to do is change brake light switch under dash.

I was having an intermittent Stabilitrak warning on my 08 Torrent. It seemed to come and go. According to an old post on this forum, someone recomended replacing the engine EGR valve, so I replaced it about a year ago. The Stabilitrak warning went away for several months but then recently persistently came on. I used my code reader and it indicated a fault with the left front sensor. I ordered a new sensor and installed it. The wire on the old sensor had been chaffed and was shorting against the brake disk splash shield. No more issues since.

I had code for RF wheel circuit so I changed wheel bearing. Stabilitrak error returned several days later. I have not checked code yet.
