Started the car after 2 months, theft light is lit

So the car sat for a few months, Started it up and took it on a drive to keep everything working properly, took a few seconds to turn over cause the battery was weak from not being started for so long. Any who as I was pulling out of the driveway I noticed the theft light is on, but it starts and runs fine.

Anyone got a clue why it's on? car starts and drives fine, It's in the driveway parked up, and I was thinking its on because of a voltage spike or something and is a coincidence. Ideas?
 
The theft system may be having trouble recognizing the key. What year is the car?
 
2001 Pontiac sunfire 2 door coupe, 2.2 OHV engine.

The car starts up and drives fine. I don't understand why the light is on.
