I've just bought a '88 Formula. All in all, it's in excellent shape. I purchased from the original owner, 90K miles. It shifts into all gears but is a little stiff side to side. The owner's manual mentions lubing the cables, but i'm not sure how to do it. I'll be getting a shop manual, but I don't have it yet. I did rebuild the headlight actuators (not too difficult a job). I've wanted one of these for years, and thing I found a good one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do a site search. I found some great threads dealing with lubing the shift cables--and a lot of different techniques.

Oreif, thanks for the heads up. I sprayed a little penetrating oil on the cable ends. It made a huge difference. I'll wash it off, and re-lube with a silicon based product.
