!! strange electrical issue !!

Hi Friends ,
I have a sunfire 2002 and i've just installed a new Radio/audio and when i'm driving the car and in same time i power on the radio => all instrument board became Crazy ( the numer of Kilometre became "error" ans the fuel Needle indicats No Fuell .....)
It's very strange !!!! when i power of the radio, all goes back to normal.
Have you an idea ?

some radios require a wiring harness module to make them compatible with the dash electronics. Check with the radio manufacturer.

How did you wire it in the back. Did you use a harness?

Be carefull with the wireing on these Sunfires. they have what the dealer calls a smart instrument cluster..Everything runs through the cluster for system start up. Dammage this unit and like my car it won't start. My instrument cluster acts like a christmass tree blinking lights and lights that stay on. It coast $285 to repair and they don't always get it right the first time.
