I have a 2003 grand am gt1 that has 125,000 miles, and unfortunately i have spun a engine bearing and its not worth repairing . My question is should i strip it off all its parts? Doors,Ram Air hood,Glass,Seats, etc and sell it piece by piece? Or should i just try to sell it as is?

depends whether you have the room to let the car sit there while waiting for people to need the parts. You could sell it or donate and take a tax deduction. You could also get a junk yard engine and replace it.

Is a spun bearing that hard to replace? I've seen it done on a few 80's and 70's cars and it seemed relatively simple verus having to pull pistons, cams and cranks. At the time I saw friends fix it they didn't even pull the crank or the piston. You are talking about the connecting rod to crankshaft bearing, right?

Melsg5-I wouldn't have to wait for people who need the parts (good old e-bay)

Dane-At first i thought the same thing but i was told by more then one mechanic that i need a new engine and im not willing to pay 1000 for a new engine and about 1000 to install

I'd be interested in the rear OEM 6x9 speakers if your car has the Monsoon system.
