I have read a lot of these posts, and some are getting stupid. For one, I dont think Carguy Is an idiot, I may not agree with some of the ways he goes about things, but for the most part he knows what he is talking about, and if he doesnt, he says he is not sure. He has said though, he likes to rebuild hi engine, so if he has the money to, then great, its not so bad how he does things then, but for some more budgted folks, it may not work so well. 2, to the guy who registered using carguys name to insult him, I think your the idiot here, nothing you have said made any sence at all, in any post you replied to, also, finding one guy to TRY and ( a poor attempt ) insult, it just goes to show that your jealous and dont know what your talking about at all, Both bad76 and carguy have proven you wrong in everything you have said, so lay off and quit ruining a good site. To carguy, I know that guy is an idiot, but, hahaha, you do go off the deep end pretty easily. Pretty good with the insults, some have made me laugh hard. Like the check engine light post, anyways, lets try and keep this an adult place to talk, I just hope that a moderator see's some of this and deleates it, and bans that one guy who makes a fool out of himself all the time.
Ryan.

Hi Ryan,

Why don't you sign up? I wish somebody would have PMd me about this. I'll go looking for the trouble now.

Thank you...

I agree with everything you have to say Ryan and I definitly would never pretend to know everything, the reason sites like this exist is because nobody does. I have had many diffrences of opinions with carguy but I would never insult anyone for their way of thinking. Long live the indian.

I agree, I do go off pretty easily. So, for all I may have offended, I apologize.

Very mature response:D . But, I like your "humor/putting people in their place" on here. I look at it as comedy relief.;) As Ryan said, very funny stuff! You've had me on the floor a few times.:D

thanks, I dont know why I fly off the handle like that, I almost killed this f*ckin dooshbag yesterdaythough , I was at the coffee store, and the guy in a jeep did a hit and run on my TA. I seen him do it, but by the time I got out there, he was gone, no witnesses or a plate number. He crushed my hole right fender and dented my Chip Foose rim. If I ever see that low life half wit, Ill smash him in the head with a hammer, or somthing of equel destructive force. Dont want to kill him, just mame him so he thinks twice before hitting a pontiac!!! I have to much time and money into that car to let losers driving a dodge made product ruin it. ( theres that temper again. )

OHHHH!! SH*TY LUCK MAN!!! I say kill the usless bastard. If you can find him. Yeah, the hammer is a GREAT Idea in that situation. Id have to agree.

I just wanted to say that carguy and analogkid have both given me good advise when i was unregistered that is why i joined this forum. dont let a couple of guys who dont know their ass from a whole in the ground ruin our fun. were all here to help and should value opinions from everyone unless they are pathetically useless opinions from unregistered guys. this is a good forum lets keep it that way. furthermore why in the hell is my headlight making a horrible noise when it is all the way down ...it sounds like the motor doesnt stop running for like 5 seconds after my light is down. secondly ...how much can my stock rear end handle with 4 10 gears. I need more traction but am concerned with scattering my rear end all over the track if i go to drag radials.

Thanks for your support, and as far as the rear end goes, Depending on the year of the car, but for the most part a stock rear end should handle safley 400-425 hp. Depending on the fluids and how well it has been maintained. any more power than that, and it MAY handle it, but Id feel safer with a beefed up one. I have blown 2 this year because of not maintaining them, and I dont have 400 hp unless I run with the bottle. And it sounds like the motor may be going on our headlight, Im not that great with electrical stuff, but Id assume thatis a safe bet without hearing it.

The weakest link in the rearend is the axles. Get some good aftermarket ones and put a girdle rear cover on it and you should be fine with drag radials up to about 450hp.

when i had the 410s put in it I put a ta performance girdle on it and had the axle tubes welded to the housing for support. thanks for the help i think i should be ok my car is mostly stock so it should hold the power.

Your headlight problem could be the headlight control module. It is supposed to sense the high current of the light being closed. If not the motor will run for about 5 seconds after the light is closed.

can i replace the module by itself or is it part of the headlight motor assembly. thanks
