Sunfire convertible issue

I have a problem with the rear passenger side window on a 1998 Sunfire convertible. When the top is raised, the drivers side rear window closes completely but the passenger side rear window stops about an inch short of completely closing. Any ideas? Thanks for assistance.

Does the passenger side rear window go completely down with the top up? You looked in the trunk area for any obstructions?

The rear windows are interconnected with the top. When the top goes down, the windows retract and vice versa. Could it be that one side or the other of the top slipped a tooth on the gear drive and is now closing crooked? I don't know if that even possible?

It's possible. I'm assuming they're electric?
