first time post here...
just bought a 99 sunfire 2.2L 4d with 89k miles. Love how it feels low to the ground and solid. feel like i'm speeding going 50 on the highway.
I replaced just the lift motors for both front windows today. i thought i had to drill out rivets to replace the motor. was happy to find that all it took was drilling access holes in the door that were lined up with the screws holding in the motor. then i was able to use a screwdriver to remove all the screws holding the motor.
needless to say it sucked with front windows not working and getting stuck so why am i even saying this here instead it's the real question a guess here but eventually i did get it up and i was even able to pull it a little, hahahhahah.
i couldn't really find any instructions on how to replace just the motor. just wondering if there are any good threads or links that have detailed steps.
