sunfire red anti theft light lock is on and car wont start

Hi
I need help with my 2001 Sunfire 2.2
my red anti theft light along with the service light was coming and going the passed few days
and I could start my car with the lights on and the anti theft went away ,
then next day tried to start the car and will not start ,the anti theft is on along with the service light
I tried 3 x 10 minutes leaving the key in the on spot a few times at the end the anti theft went away
and still will not start and at the end , the cycle starts again with the anti theft comes back ,
and the service light is on , also tried relearning different keys and nothing no change .

P.s : would it be very hard to by pass the anti theft so it would not come back .

Please can some one help me solve this big problem .

You need a scan tool to determine why the service light is on.
Do you have another key to try?

thank you for your message ,
I tried relearning the system with 3 different keys and still the same ,
now what the anti theft is doing it flashing ,
then it stops and stays , then after the 3 time of 3x10 minutes the anti theft service light
all go away and still does not want to start ,

could the problem be the ignition lock cylender

Do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key to the run position?
