Suspension issue

Lucky they are riveted in, I may have to do a 87 Nissan Sentra 's which is pressed in and held in with a snap ring. Some " know- it- all " kid thinks he can do it no problem.

Hope he did his research cause I did, if you pull out both the axle shafts, you need two $90 a piece tools to align the ends with the ring and pinion inside the trans to put the shafts back in, plus all your fluid leaks out.

There is a way to cheat but I aint telling him.:D A-arm has to come out anyway, but a new one is $89 with new bushings and ball joint. Its $9 just for the ball joint plus you have to find someone with a press.

Wife Cousin's car....................his friend is the "know-it- all ".

Yeah I can't stand when someone who doesn't do their research thinks it can be done and they know just how to do it. lmfao

Any kind of axle work I do I always mark the shit out em before pulling them if they are going back in. if not I then look to see if they have a spleen on them to line it up. But leave it to Nissan to over complicate something lol.

and yeah TM those seem priced about right hopefully when the fad wears off of them they will come down in price. Seems like it would make a nice smooth ride.

I'd like to be able to get a couple more inches of clearance when I'm on mountain roads crossing washout ruts and branches. For two grand, I'll get out and move stuff. I'm expecting a little stiffness from the variable rate springs I got and the jounce bumpers will keep the struts from bottoming.
I put rocks or branches in the ruts if they're too deep.

They sell a 2 inch lift for FWD cars................ ( spacers go on top of the struts and the bottom of the coils out back)

3 inch kit is available but you have to get struts from them.

I picked up space with 205/70/14 tires (factory size was 185/70/14)

Sunbird on 20's with some kind of lift http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErPOuRGbupE

Some people say to use Lumina springs on Sunbird struts up front and spacer cups out back:confused: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=3&i=162772&t=153434&p=1
