TCC Solenoid clip impossible to get out

I have no idea how the clip even went in there. The hole where the clip should be able to slide out is smaller than the clip is. I can't get it out there no matter what I do. I've destroyed the existing TCC solenoid trying to pry it out, and now I also have to figure out how to remove the remaining part of it, too.

Any suggestions, since I don't see anybody else having this problem. I must be blind.

I ended up removing the pump assembly bolts, and rotating it to get to the clip, and then was able to remove the remnants of the solenoid. I don't recommend this, since the pump is delicate and fell apart when I did this. I hope I got it back together correctly

I'll post pictures this afternoon, just to provide the answers.

This video shows how the clip is installed, so it should have just pulled straight out to remove it. The second video shows it being pulled out at about 20:00. Good to hear you figured out how to remove it.

thanks, but that shows the 3-4 up-shift solenoid, and that one was the easiest to remove

The TCC is on the opposite side, lower-left.

His TCC solenoid clip has a slot where mine is blocked. That's so weird.
