Th350

Alright, being that my car is all numbers and a stronger than stock motor is going in. I`m not going to use numbers tranny. Its a 3 speed th350 and wondering on companies that are worthy in the work the do. I dont want to send a core in because I live in Canada and it is a PIA to get things shipped across border. Buying and getting it shipped would not be as much of problem. I want strong, firm shifts, with Trq convtr, handles 450hp easily (Motor not that much but would assume better to have more than needed),

Also need a BOP pattern. Must fit 1980 TA if that matters at all.

How much work is there to use a 700r4 work in 1980 TA with 400 BOP Pattern. What is there all to be changed for th350 to 700R4

I`m looking at the TCI street fighter. Also, how do I choose the correct transmission. I am not familiar with them or the terms like lock up and what ever else there is.

Call them and tell them what you have and what you want it to do. I would look into a 700r4 or the 200r4 would work too.
