The heating doesn't work in my 2001 Pontiac Montana.?

I don`t have a current subscription for an `04 van, but there is no TSB for my 06. I did have to do this to my `03 Montana. So somewhere in there they have fixed the issue.
But, if you are not getting adequate air flow in your `04 on the vent setting, then you may want to try this fix.

Hello, I know this subject was talked about. I have a 2000 P montana with heat problems. I followed the directions posted. Once I got the glove box off I got completely got lost. Is there any pictures someone can post or send to me. Or explain in detail what am i looking for. Thankyou

hey buddy im having about the same issue. I have a 2000 Montana, the air through the vent is minimal on heat and perfect on cool. the actuator I see , after removing the glove box controls the mode selecting and I couldn't get it to change the CFM of air during the heat coming from the vent.

I am having a similar issue. I am going to attempt the same repair but, I was unsure if I am to reconnect the power to the acutator or not. Also, am I suppose to just disgard the mode door lever that I remove?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Having the same issue with 2002 Silhouette. I am going to try the same fix. Am I suppose to plug the power back into the actuator when I am finished? Do I just discard the arm that I remove?

Any comments are greatly appreciated.
