Okay, so I see lots of people reading my post, but no answers. Starting to wonder if I made the wrong choice on this purchase, lol! Anyways, decided to try and do what I could to get the car running good. Got the A/C charged up ($140!) and grabbed some new plugs to install. I pulled the Ignition And Coil Module Assembly off to gain access to the plugs, and when I put the socket on, oil gushed up from the first cylinder I went in. Okay, I figured, leaking gasket, I can swap that out. Well, this 2.4L is kicking my butt for sure! I just don't even see how to get access to these seals, and I can't even find any information to verify there are spark plug seals! The search function here seems to always lead me to the same page (which has every post ever made, lol). So, any tips to help me replace these seals? Thanks guys.

Have you considered investing in a Haynes or similar DIY repair manual? They can be quite usefull when you need information immediately.

You're darn tootin' I have! As a matter of fact, I raced to Autozone in the Batmobile (okay, so its a Ford Flex) and ripped that Haynes off the shelf. While waiting to purchase it, I opened it up to see what it had to say about my current mission. Much to my dismay, it covered every single type of engine...except the one I have. No mention anywhere about a 2.4L DOHC. So, being optimistic, I asked the associate for a set of seals, and he had nothing to offer me....so, here's where I'm at. If I can just get that stupid Timing Chain housing off, I'm golden. But I am struggling to get that done. I've removed the passenger side motor mount and jacked the engine up a bit, and it certainly helped, but the motor mount bracket I can't get off (need an 18mm socket...the only one I don't have, of course). Once that is out of the way, I should be able to removed enough bolts to pull back the timing chain cover and take out the remaining bolts keeping the camshaft covers on. That's my hope at least. Thanks for the reply and I'm still all ears for any help available out there in Internet land.

I don't know what is up with my posts not...posting...waste all that time typing....anyways, short version: checked the Haynes manual out, it doesn't contain guidance for my engine (2.4L DOHC). Right now I just need some help getting the timing chain housing off so I can access the last couple of bolts to remove the camshaft covers to replace the seals and begin reassembly.
