Thinking about turning the montana into a hunting rig

Well, not having much money to spend on a truck. I have a 2006 montana awd that could be a decent yard/hunting rig. I have about a 2k budget to get it into good condition for that. Any suggestions?

Not sure what you mean by good condition, do you mean modifications or normal maintenance items?

It needs some work. Brakes and a wheel bearing. Exhaust manifold leak. I would like to add some off road lights and a roof rack.Possibly a trailer hitch. It has 133k and has otherwise been well maintained.
