hi just wondering if anyone had a issue with there traction control and stabilitrak and it say reduce engine power help please some times it goes off and and i drive it for a while it come back on
you could have a bad wheel sensor, the only way to tell for sure, and which one, is to hook up the correct diagnostic tool that a shop or dealer would have.
i when to the garage and the guy told me it your gas cap seal gone the engine light came on with the traction control and staliltak it was give off to much emission i told him you must be kidding me try it before we put it on the diagnostic it been three days now and the lights did not come on yet
I had the same problem. My Stabilitrack and Traction light came on a little bit after my Check Engine light came on. I ended up needing a new EGR valve for the check engine light. The mechanic said they could not find an issue with the traction control but cleaned around my wheels very well. I haven't had the light come on since.
A couple days a go I was noticing a winding or rrrrr sounds Im not great at describing this but was noticeable . Today I did the road test . Throttled up to speed and just sounds like its not shifting but I can see the RPS up and down and feels like it to . Checking the steering at 45 mph steering left no difference .Steering right the noise went away . Hmm Im thinking wheel bearing .
Next day I had to run a errand about 18 miles . Last 3 Miles I get a light and stop . While at the light I notice the dash blinking this Traction Control off . Then to service the stabilatrack system. I haven't noticed any loss in power or gain. WHats your thoughts ?? Could the wheel bearing heat up and give a mis reading to the wheel sensor ?
2007 Torrent AWD 110 K Sounds coming from front left . I had a wheel bering in front right go about 7 months ago . I was told to check the Carrier Bearing as these are known to wobble and make noise ( Drive shaft to Rear Axel ) .
