Hello,
Just joined the forum. I have 2 Pontiac housings, one is a 57 for leaf springs and one is a 61 with the triangulated arms and coils. I am considering replacing the leaf sprung rear with triangulated 4 link. In order to keep the articulation of the rear as Pontiac engineered it, I would need to know the lengths of the upper and lower trailing arms. Internet searches have proven fruitless. GM Heritage Foundation will not release this information and are forbidden to give out any blueprints. Manufacturers of replacement arms will not give out this info for fear they will loose sales. The original arms are not readily available in bone yards for measurements and I know no one that owns a 61-64 Pontiac in my area. Can anyone help? I work daily so I can not respond quickly.
