tranny question

hi my engine is dead, its the reg. 2.2. i was thinkin of upgrading to the ecotec
will the trans work?

you would have to see if someone makes an adaptor and you have the issue of your computer speaking to a different trani.

Not tryin to hijack post but I just bought a 02 5 spd and 5th makes a whirl noise when trying to engage? Other than that no issues? Is it gear synchro or what anyone got junk tranny layin around....
