I have a1998 Trans am Firebird Formula it started hesitating to go into second gear al others are fine I replaced the throttle position sencor it didn't help anybody know anything and have some advice

assuming you do not have a check engine light and you have no issues with your speedometer the first thing to do, if it has not been done recently, is change the transmission filter and fluid. Otherwise the issue is related to an internal transmission shift solenoid.

I changed the filter anfluid my check engine light is on andit is he knock sensor can it has something to do with the shiftkit it doesn't

well i would get the check engine light corrected and if that has no effect you are back to an internal transmission problem
