I am trying to change starter on 4dr Is there a trick or what do I have to remove to get to the front bolt I got the rear bolt I cant even feel the front one Thanks in advance
I found the best way is to take everything on the top off to include the intake and do it from the top on my 94 2.0 EFI auto trans. its a big Job but take your time and it can be done. I would replace all the hoses back there while I was at it. it will save you trouble down the road. there is one big conector for most of the EFI stuff under the intake you can see it below the intake when you move the alternator and loosen off the power stearing pump and lay it back out of the way if it is a 2.0 the ignition box is bolted to the bottom of the intake I think it has three small bolts and one nut on a stud you have to take loose and lower so you can get to a couple of the intake bolts on the bottom of th intake. yeah its a real pain. the first time I did this it took about two days to tare down too.
