I own a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. I just had my starter and alternator replaced about 3 weeks ago. My car is still having trouble starting. What could it be? Could the need of a major tune up be a cause? I'm pretty clueless about cars.. so any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

if you haven't had a tune up done yet you may be over due for one. starting problems are always a start small and work your way up process. if you don't use a fuel injection cleaner. try adding one of those to your tank. i reccomend techron. it is a great cleaner. i use one about every month. any vehicle should have a tune up between 50 and 70 miles based on driving conditions

I don't know anything about cars. But I vaguely remember my husband replacing the ignition thingy. The keys were bad, or the ignition thing. Whatever.

I do know that a tune up on a car that won't start is bad money.
