Trouble with Doors on a Pontiac Grand Am GT 2000?

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT, I bought the car from a private seller, she had lost the key less entry and at one time locked her keys in the vehicle. She has said that a cop jimmied the doors open and ever since then not even the key will unlock either door. The key I have works for the ignition,glove box and truck. but neither of the doors.
 
you shouldn't have to buy a new car , it sounds like you should get a lock smith to take a look at the doors cuz if the key works for everything except the door it shouldnt be a problem to fix it
