Trying to help college daughter by phone. She's replacing alternator in a 2001 grand am w/4 cylinder and she can't get to the last bolt on the upper side. Says it is under the hoses she can't move or remove and intake manifold and something about a half moon shape. I am not there and she has minimal tools. (open end wrenches and screwdrivers) I told her to look underneath and to see if there is a way to get to last bolt. I have seen the car but it's been a while and all the books or internet says is remove the bolts not how to get to them. I thought someone else in here has probably dealt with this before..

you can fit a 15 mm on the back side its a lil strange the way the wrench goes in there but all you gotta do is crack the bolt and twist the rest of the way with you fingers... but what ever happens dont drop the bolt or is gone forever lol no joke
