I wouldn't recommend putting a turbo on a grand am, the engine just really isn't built for it and depending on how many miles are on the engine it will severely shorten your engine life.

Sounds like you have no idea what you're doing, so leave the car alone. You will do more harm than good with a badly set up turbo.
