Turn signal problem

Have read all about the 2000 Grand am turn signal problems, but how about this one. Hazards work fine, left signal works fine but right signal blinks too fast. Wait, bulbs are good multi function as far as I can tell is good, took it apart cleaned and lubricated, as well as the hazard switch itself
looks good, looking at the lights blink, the right one is blinking the parking filament instead of the turn signal filament. Any ideas?

Bulb is not correctly inserted into socket, socket doesnt have ground. Did you test the bulbs with an ohm meter? Did you test the socket with an ohm meter for ground and a volt meter for power?

Tried 2 new bulbs inserted both ways no difference. Will take apart again to check why I'm getting power to the parking lamp and not the turning lamp. I dont think these blubs make a difference which way they are inserted. According to the prints, both sides of the bulbs are tied together then go to ground.

Bulbs should only go into socket one way, the filaments are different, one is brighter than the other. Check the wiring at the light, that is where the problem will be. Either a bad ground or wired backwards, I have seen lights wired backwards after body repair has been done. The ground is shared for both filaments but if lost the bulb will try and ground itself through the circuit not being used.

OK update. Bulbs on this does not matter which way they go in. Found out that I lost my ground going to the bulbs so I ran another ground to the ground wire and everything works the way it should. Thanks for all your help.
This car some where has keyless entry because sometimes I go out to my car and its unlocked! Have to find out how to get a remote, as I have never had one, brought it used.

Glad you found the issue, remotes are sold on internet and any dealer can look up your vehicle by VIN to confirm you have keyless.
