G`Day all, Kathleens Dad Phil.
So I`m helping the daughter on her car, I took it up for a wheel alignment and it came back with the steering wheel not quite straight, easy fix , remove steering wheel turn a little bolt on again.
No it doesn`t work that way as I found out, so in the process I have damaged the cancel cam for the turn signals,
Now I need a cancel cam, anyone ??
Also somehow the steering lock dose not work anymore can`t turn the key off far enough to remove the key, bugger.
So removed ignition lock and it still works o.k, put pliers on the tab to try and turn the steering lock and it only goes so far won`t turn enough to engage the lock pin, goes so far but not all the way???
What have I done ??? wrong??
bit of broken plastic dropped down in there ?
Any help welcomed also a cancel cam...
Need help or she might not talk to me again.

Thanks Phil....

the correct fix for the wheel was to take it back and have them correctly adjust the toe-in with the wheel centered, you do not pull the wheel for that.
You can try ebay or perhaps the fierostore for the broken part.
Concerning the key, if an automatic do you have it in park, or a manual reverse?

So just went and checked the shift lever and it was in reverse, now why didn`t i see that before, too annoyed with my self for breaking the cam i suppose.
Right all I need now is to find a canceling cam.
Thank you for that info.
Must say I`m learning a little more working on this car its not as bad to work on as I first thought, I drive an old 66 Galaxie and thats real easy to work on.
So thanks again.
Phil....
