Turn Signals

Ok on my 1970 LeMans my turns signals blink real slow and will eventually go solid and not blink. I have replaced every single bulb, and have replaced the blinker unit twice. Am I dealing with a ground issue, or worn out bulb sockets? Any advice or help would be great..

Have you used a multimeter on a socket to check power and ground?

I have the same issue in my 1971 Lemans and haven't figured it out yet. My left signal is fine but the right is not. I have isolated it to something before the trunk.
